PowerPoint on TV: Present PDF Slides From Your Phone

Your slides fill the screen. Your phone becomes the page controller.

Your slides fill the room's screen. Your phone turns them while you present from your seat or move around the room.

Get the result

  1. Export your PowerPoint deck as a PDF. Keynote and Google Slides also support PDF export.
  2. Open vuthis.com in the TV browser. For a projector, use its browser or a browser on the computer already driving it.
  3. Connect your phone using the display's QR code. A laptop or tablet can connect at vuthis.com/r with the screen code.
  4. Choose Document, select the exported PDF and tap Show now.
  5. Select Fit page, then use Next and Previous to turn slides.

Keep the workflow ready for the next room

Export the PDF before your meeting and keep it on the device you will control from. The screen shows the exported pages; your other tabs and messages remain on your own device.

Prepare the slides before you enter the room

In PowerPoint or Keynote, choose the PDF export option. In Google Slides, use File, Download, PDF Document. Open the result and check that the text, diagrams and page order look right.

This route shows the exported pages. Use the original presentation software when the presentation depends on animations, embedded video or other interactive elements.

Use your phone or keep your laptop as the controller

A phone is convenient when you want to move around during a workshop. A MacBook, Surface or Windows laptop is useful when the file is already saved there. Both use the same screen code to connect.

Can I use a conference-room projector?

Open the display page in a browser on the room computer already driving the projector, then connect from your own device. Keep the existing room connection in place and use Next and Previous to move through the exported slides.
