The TV shows your selected document or photos. Your laptop holds the controls.
Get the result
- Open vuthis.com in the TV's browser.
- Open vuthis.com/r in your laptop browser and enter the code shown on the TV.
- Choose Document for a PDF or Photos for selected pictures.
- Select the file or photos and tap Show now.
- Change pages or pictures from the laptop.
Use a PDF export when showing PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides. For a projector, the display page runs in its browser or a browser on the computer already driving the projector.
The controller and display both need internet access. They do not need shared Wi-Fi pairing. This workflow sends chosen supported content to the display; it is useful when the room needs a document or pictures quickly.
MacBook, Surface and Windows laptop setup
Keep the PDF or selected photos ready on the laptop you are presenting from. Open the controller in its browser, enter the code visible on the TV and choose the content. Use Document for PDF pages and Photos for a picture collection.
This is useful for a client proposal, portfolio or training handout when the room already has a display browser. Other open tabs and notifications stay on your laptop because the screen receives your chosen content rather than a live desktop mirror.
Does the TV need a browser?
The display page needs a usable browser on the TV or on a computer already connected to it. In a meeting room, the room PC can run that page while your own laptop acts as the controller. The same arrangement works with a projector.
Can the devices use different Wi-Fi networks?
Yes. Both need internet access, but they do not need shared Wi-Fi pairing. For example, the room computer can use its existing network while your controlling laptop uses guest Wi-Fi. Enter the screen code to connect.
