Office Notice Board on TV: Update Messages From Your Phone

Turn an office TV into a visible notice board for staff information. Prepare an announcement or PDF and update the screen through a browser controller.

Today's staff notice on the office TV. Change the message from your phone or laptop when the information changes. Open vuthis.com on the display, connect and choose the content staff need to see.

For a reception, staff area or shared workspace, a screen can carry a room change, visitor instruction, training reminder or short operational announcement. Keep the message focused on the next useful action.

Choose the format for the notice

Use a short text message for one clear instruction. Use an announcement when the feature's structured fields suit the notice. Use Document when the information is already prepared as a PDF, such as an agenda, diagram or instruction sheet.

Decide what belongs on a shared screen before displaying it. Prepare a public staff notice rather than a private document containing information that should not be visible in the room.

Put the notice on the TV

  1. Open vuthis.com in the TV's usable browser, or on the computer already driving the display.
  2. Connect your phone using the screen QR code, or use vuthis.com/r on a laptop with the display code.
  3. Choose the text, announcement or PDF format matching the notice.
  4. Prepare the content and choose Show now.
  5. Check its readability from the place staff will pass or wait.

Write for someone walking past

Put the main instruction first, then the date, time or room needed to act on it. A clear “Training moved to Room B, 2 pm” notice can be more useful than a full paragraph explaining the background.

For a PDF notice, start with Fit page so the whole layout is visible. If it is hard to read across the room, increase the type size or shorten the original page before exporting it again.

Keep the controller available to the person responsible for the notice. Review the screen when the event or information changes so an expired instruction does not stay prominent.

Both devices need internet access. Shared Wi-Fi pairing and an HDMI cable from the controlling device are not required. Use the notice-board instructions, or the [reception-message article](/reception-tv-welcome-message.html) for an arrival-focused example.
