Show an iPad PDF on a Projector Without an HDMI Adapter
Present a PDF from an iPad on a projector through the browser controller. Keep page control on the iPad and the document on the room’s screen.

The display browser can run on the computer already driving the projector. If the projector itself has a usable browser, that can supply the page instead. Your controlling iPad does not need its own HDMI adapter to that screen.
Get the document ready on the iPad
Save the final PDF somewhere you can select it from the iPad's file picker. For a Keynote or other slide presentation, prepare a PDF export and open it before the session.
Check its page order and make sure that diagrams and small labels are readable. Keep a title page or agenda ready for the first screen people see.
Connect and present
- Open vuthis.com on the room's display browser and leave its connection code visible.
- Open vuthis.com/r in the iPad browser and enter that code.
- Choose Document, select the PDF and choose Show now.
- Select Fit page to show a complete slide.
- Use Previous and Next from your seat or while moving around the room.
Read a worksheet or show a diagram
Fit page is useful for a complete diagram or slide. Fit width makes a portrait document larger and lets the controller move through it a screenful at a time. Choose the view for the content rather than the shape of the original file.
Both the iPad and display need internet access. They do not need to share Wi-Fi. The audience sees your chosen document, while other tabs remain on the iPad.
For animated slides or embedded media, use the original presentation workflow; this route shows the exported PDF pages. Before attendees arrive, show a page, turn it once and check the result from the back of the room.
