Put a Canva Presentation or Poster on TV as a PDF

Show a Canva presentation, menu or event poster on TV using a PDF export. Connect through the browser and choose a readable page view.

Your Canva presentation or poster on the TV, controlled from your phone or laptop. Download a PDF copy, open the display browser and choose the file. The room sees the finished design rather than your editing workspace.

This is a useful route for a prepared pitch deck, café menu, event programme or workshop instruction. You keep designing in Canva and use V U This to put the exported document on the shared screen.

Prepare the design for the screen

Download the design or presentation as a PDF and open the result. Check its page order and the size of the smallest text. A design made for a printed page can need larger type when people will read it across a room.

For a presentation, prepare complete landscape slides. For an information display, consider a single clear page with the title, main message and relevant time or price. Save the PDF on the device you will control from.

Show the Canva PDF on TV

  1. Open vuthis.com in the TV's usable browser, or on its connected computer.
  2. Connect a phone using the screen QR code, or connect a laptop at vuthis.com/r with the display code.
  3. Choose Document, select the PDF and choose Show now.
  4. Choose Fit page for the full poster or slide.
  5. Use Previous and Next for a multi-page document.

Pick the right display view

Fit page keeps the complete design visible. Fit width makes a tall page larger and lets the controller move through it a screenful at a time. For an unattended menu or poster, a shorter, screen-friendly page can be easier than a long document that needs repeated manual changes.

This workflow shows a PDF export, not Canva's live editor, animations or embedded playback. Keep the original presentation workflow when those interactions are essential.

Both devices need internet access, and shared Wi-Fi pairing is not required. For an installed projector, a browser on the room computer can be the display while your own device controls it.
